Megerle’s drawings show oddly convoluted and deformed bodies, often in literal or figurative strangleholds that they often seem to inflict on themselves. Their physical intensity derives from moments of playfulness and grotesquerie laced with barely contained violence. Working with charcoal and ink, he layers dense aggregates of subtle hatching and graduated shading in compositions whose apparent homogeneity gives way to complex internal contradictions as caricatural exaggerations come into view.

The gallery works with emerging international and Danish artists. The program has been known for its conceptual and minimal approach, with an emphasis on image-production and the discourses that surrounds these matters. However, as the program keeps evolving, it can be characterized as varied, showing artists working in a range of different media. Since its opening the gallery has participated in international art fairs such as Liste, Independent New York, FIAC, Frieze New York, Frieze London, Art Basel Miami Beach, and Art Basel Hong Kong.
